Helpful Tips for Recording Your Video

You do not need to show your face!

It’s totally okay to just show the mini figures on a table.

You can film hands opening envelopes or boxes.

Keep the video short (30–90 seconds is great).

A parent can be in the video or help with filming.

Have fun with it—there’s no “right” way to do it!

Want Ollie to feature your video?

Got some new LEGO mini figures in the mail? That’s exciting!

If you’d like, and with a parent or guardian’s permission, you can upload a short video showing the mini figures you received. Ollie loves watching these videos, and we may record a reaction video of Ollie watching kids open their mail.

Uploading a video is completely optional and not required to play.

Got Questions? Find Your Answers Here!

What age group does Ollies Figures cater to?

Ollies Figures is tailored for youngsters aged 8-12 years.

What is Ollie’s Figures?

Ollie’s Figures is a paper-based mini figure exchange kids can do with friends. It works just like the sticker chains many parents remember from childhood. Kids mail one mini figure to the first name on the list, copy the page, and share it with friends.

How do kids receive mini figures?

Each time a child joins, they mail one mini figure to the first name on the list. As the page gets copied and shared, other kids will eventually mail one mini figure to whoever is at the top of their list.

When your child’s name reaches the top on other lists, lots of mini figures start arriving in your mailbox.

Can we skip participating if we’re unsure?

Yes. Absolutely.
Participation is always optional, and families are encouraged to use their own judgment.

This project works best when parents feel confident, informed, and in control.

Are mailing addresses shared online?

No.
Mailing addresses are written only on the paper and shared only within friend groups you know. Addresses are never entered, uploaded, or collected online.

Is this safe?

Yes, when done as intended:

Shared only with safe friends you know. It is meant to be very

supervised by parents.

No online sharing of addresses or names.

Optional video participation is only with permission

This project is about kindness, patience, and old school fun.

How are mailing addresses handled?

Ollie’s Figures is designed to be shared only within social groups you already know and trust, such as friends, classmates, teammates, or family friends. Check in with parents and make sure they are ok with participating before sending out the invitation to play.

Mailing addresses are written only on the paper page and are never collected or shared online.

What if I’m not comfortable sharing my home address?

That’s completely understandable. Families are encouraged to choose the option that feels safest for them.

You may use:

A P.O. Box, if you have one

A work address (with permission)

A relative’s address

Or choose to participate only with close friends

The goal is for families to stay within comfortable, known circles.
